The services this division offers include city hydrological studies, quality/quantity simulation, hydraulic software as well as water quality inspections and analysis.

We are the only private institute in Germany with a water laboratory. Our laboratory uses modeling techniques to optimize the design of complicated storage and control facilities for our customers. In addition the laboratory calibrates all our hydro-mechanical products.

We undertake essential research for German and foreign specialist and local authorities, and over 1 000 of our research reports have been published. UFT maintains its own databank of literature relating to storm water and sewerage issues and is actively involved in the training and education work of the DWA (German Association for Water, Waste Water and Waste).
